The SunSDR2 QRP is aĀ light and small SDR,Ā Software Defined Radio transceiver. It covers HF and 6 meter with a transmit power of 5 watt and a general coverage direct conversion (DDC) receiver. This small SDR transceiverĀ is based on theĀ proven SunSDR2 PRO transceiver, the creation of RN6LHF and his skilled team at Expert Electronics. It is a high performance SDR transceiver in a QRP package.Ā Here are some of itsĀ highlights:

  • HF to 6 meter general coverage receiver (DDC)
  • 16 bit low power ADC
  • Dual receivers, each with SUB RX (4 slices)
  • 5 Watt transmit on all ham bands
  • Yaesu MH-31 compatible input
  • HeadsetĀ in/output (ModMic, electret mic, etc.)
  • PTT footswitch input
  • CW-keyer input

For that IOTA, SOTA or any other operation in the field, connect your SunSDR2 QRP toĀ the RPI server, then connect with yourĀ PC, tablet or phone wirelessly via WiFi to the RPI server. This way you canĀ place your transceiver together with the antenna on the beach or in a high position whileĀ operating fromĀ a comfortable leeward location nearby. For longer distances plug a 4G modem into the RPI server and connect where from anywhere else.
