The SunSDR2 QRP is aĀ light and small SDR,Ā Software Defined Radio transceiver. It covers HF and 6 meter with a transmit power of 5 watt and a general coverage direct conversion (DDC) receiver. This small SDR transceiverĀ is based on theĀ proven SunSDR2 PRO transceiver, the creation of RN6LHF and his skilled team at Expert Electronics. It is a high performance SDR transceiver in a QRP package.Ā Here are some of itsĀ highlights:
- HF to 6 meter general coverage receiver (DDC)
- 16 bit low power ADC
- Dual receivers, each with SUB RX (4 slices)
- 5 Watt transmit on all ham bands
- Yaesu MH-31 compatible input
- HeadsetĀ in/output (ModMic, electret mic, etc.)
- PTT footswitch input
- CW-keyer input
- PTT out for amp control
- Reverse polarity protection
- Remote Control via Internet or local WiFi using RPI
Your SunSDR2 QRP can be remotely controlled via internet using ourĀ RPI server. Access your transceiver from anywhere using the remote control application on a PC or use the web application from aĀ browser on a PC or portable IOS or Android device.
For that IOTA, SOTA or any other operation in the field, connect your SunSDR2 QRP toĀ the RPI server, then connect with yourĀ PC, tablet or phone wirelessly via WiFi to the RPI server. This way you canĀ place your transceiver together with the antenna on the beach or in a high position whileĀ operating fromĀ a comfortable leeward location nearby. For longer distances plug a 4G modem into the RPI server and connect where from anywhere else.
